This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to bookings made through Travel8.in where Travel8.in/AVG acts as aggregator and books services with third-party suppliers on behalf of customers.

Payment Terms. All amounts are payable in INR (unless otherwise stated). The payer is responsible for timely payment and any bank or conversion charges. If a Partner collects funds, the Partner is the payer from Travel8.in’s perspective until funds are remitted. Travel8.in will initiate approved refunds within 7–45 business days, but actual receipt is subject to the supplier/payment processor and banks. Travel8.in may deduct reasonable processing fees,
reversal charges or taxes from any refund.

3.1 General Principles

All refunds, cancellations and modifications are subject to the terms and conditions of the actual service provider (airline, hotel, transport operator, activity provider). Travel8.in will assist in processing refunds but cannot override supplier policies.

3.2 Booking Confirmation and Non-Refundable Fees

Once a booking is confirmed and ticketed, the supplier’s fare rules apply. Travel8.in may charge a service or processing fee which is non-refundable unless otherwise specified. Taxes and government levies may be non-refundable as per supplier rules.

3.3 How Refunds are Processed

When a refund is approved by the supplier: (a) Travel8.in will initiate refund processing to the original payer; (b) Refund timelines depend on supplier and payment gateway/bank and may take between 7 to 45 business days; (c) Any intermediary or bank charges may be deducted by the supplier or payment network. Travel8.in will communicate status updates to the customer.

3.4 Refunds for Payments Collected by Partners/Agents

If a B2B2C partner or agent collects payment from the end customer, refunds and settlements are primarily the responsibility of that Partner unless otherwise agreed. Travel8.in is not liable for disputes arising from partner-collected funds.

3.5 Cancellation by Supplier or Force Majeure

If a supplier cancels or materially changes a service, supplier’s policies will determine refunds, re-accommodation or compensation. In force majeure events, suppliers and Travel8.in will follow applicable rules; Travel8.in shall not be liable for supplier decisions.

3.6 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Chargebacks initiated by cardholders are subject to the card network and bank rules. Travel8.in will cooperate with banks and suppliers to provide documentation. Where a chargeback is fraudulent or unjustified, Travel8.in reserves the right to pursue recovery from the cardholder, partner or agent.

Chargebacks & Recovery. If a chargeback is reversed in Travel8.in’s favour, the customer/partner must repay amounts plus any fees and costs. Travel8.in reserves the right to recover reasonable collection costs, including attorneys’ fees.

3.7 Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

Refund and cancellation disputes shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be referred to mediation. If unresolved within 45 days, the dispute shall be finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Delhi (Karkardooma). Arbitration shall be conducted in English by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed; failing which each party shall appoint one arbitrator and the two shall appoint the presiding arbitrator. The arbitral award shall be final and binding. Either party may seek urgent or interim relief from a competent court as necessary.

Severability & Other Provisions. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. The Customer may not assign rights without Travel8.in’s written consent. These Policies, together with any written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter.
