This Privacy Policy explains how Travel8.in (operated by Adya Vaikuntha Global (OPC) Private Limited – AVG) collects, uses, stores, shares and protects Personal Information when you: visit the website, create an account, submit queries, request quotes, book travel services through us, or interact with our B2B or B2B2C partners. By accessing or using our services, you consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2.2 Users outside India / Cross-border processing

Personal Information will primarily be processed in India. Data may also be processed in other jurisdictions by third-party service providers or suppliers. By using our services, you consent to such transfer and processing. Local laws in other jurisdictions may differ from your country of residence.

We collect: (a) Identifying information: name, contact details, date of birth, gender; (b) Travel information: itinerary, passenger names, passport and visa details, special requests; (c) Transaction information: booking references, payment confirmations, invoices (we do not store card CVV); (d) Communication records: emails, chat and call logs; (e) Technical data: IP address, browser, device, cookies and session logs; (f) Partner/Agent information: business details, commission and remittance data.

2.4 Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing

We process Personal Information to: perform booking services, communicate booking confirmations and updates, process payments, provide customer support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, analyze and improve services, conduct marketing (with consent or as permitted), and to perform administrative and accounting functions. Processing may be necessary for performance of a contract, to comply with legal obligations, for legitimate business
interests, or with your consent where required.

We share Personal Information as necessary with: service suppliers (airlines, hotels, transport and activity providers), payment gateways, corporate affiliates, B2B2C partners, government and enforcement authorities when required by law, analytics and hosting providers. Suppliers act as independent controllers or processors; Travel8.in is not responsible for supplier privacy practices. We may anonymize or aggregate data for analytics and commercial use.

Booking records, invoices and tax documents: retained for 7 years. Customer account & support communications: 3 years. Marketing consents: retained until withdrawal. Other records: as long as necessary for legal compliance or business needs.

However no system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will comply with applicable laws including notification obligations.

Our services are for users aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under 18 except as required for travel bookings with parental/guardian consent. If we learn of data collected from a child without consent, we will take steps to delete it.

2.13 B2B & B2B2C Specific Data Responsibilities

Suppliers and Partners who receive data from us are responsible for their compliance with privacy laws. If a partner collects payments or holds customer data, they are responsible for their handling, invoicing and tax compliance. Travel8.in is not responsible for partner breaches or misuse of data. Contracts with partners should include appropriate data protection and indemnity clauses.

B2B and B2B2C partners are solely responsible for their own:

Travel8.in is not liable for any non-compliance by partners.

B2B2C partners cannot represent themselves as employees or official agents of Travel8.in. Any such misrepresentation is the sole liability of the partner and NOT Travel8.in.

Travel8.in does not guarantee the legitimacy, licensing, solvency, operational capacity, or legal compliance of any third-party supplier or B2B/B2B2C partner. Travel8.in conducts basic due diligence only, and customers assume full responsibility for choosing to proceed with a booking.

2.14 Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or business changes. Updated versions will be posted with the revision date. Continued use implies acceptance.
